The V77L vertical machining center has been specifically designed to minimize thermal distortion for part precision and enhance higher quality finishes on die/mold output.
 

The V77L provides environmentally controlled machine accuracy enhancements, such as Makino’s core-cooled, under-race lubrication system, which minimizes spindle distortion and twin shield-style splash guards to reduce the effect of temperature change in the factory.

Technical Specifications

Available with either a 40-taper, 20,000/30,000-rpm or a 50-taper, 12,000/18,000-rpm spindle, the V77L can rough and finish hardened steel cavities/cores far more efficiently than general-purpose machines. Rigid linear guides and twin ballscrews are adopted for the Y-axis for a workpiece up to 2 tons.

The user-friendly, Makino Professional 6 control with Makino’s next-generation Super Geometric Intelligence (SGI.5) software—developed specifically for high-feedrate, tight-tolerance machining of complex, 3-D contoured shapes involving continuous tiny blocks of NC data—ensures production rates faster than standard CNC systems while maintaining unsurpassed accuracy.
