Key N2 design features work in concert to slash non-cutting times:
• 300mm direct drive 4th axis completes 90° rotations in just 0.65 seconds
• Spindle acceleration to a 20,000 rpm maximum in 0.8 seconds
• Responsive Z-axis acceleration of 1.4G
Productivity and throughput of common drilling and tapping operations are up to 40 percent faster on the N2 compared to traditional 400mm machines. Efficient chip / coolant management and an automation ready design make the N2 the “right-sized” solution for small high-volume parts production.
